Made a visual mistake with the blue color line visuals (the colors and alignment look similar). The city report found that Measure FF will maintain Berkeley’s existing roadway pavement quality of 57, assuming no additional changes are made from council. The three color lines above assume additional funding by council whereas two last lines excluding the bottom one are Measure FF and Measure EE plus baseline action.
Measure EE will still decrease our score from 57 to 54, due to only funding deferred pavings and not incoming ones.
Part 2 from my previous post on your EE-FF post: That city report (a) is at odds with the report that the city put out less than 2 years ago, (b) does not increase revenues with inflation, as both measures allow, (c) does not include the maintenance costs associated with all the new cycle tracks that FF would fund (perhaps because the city is not, in fact, maintaining them well now!), and (d) was issued just before the election in which most of the council supports FF. Need I note therefore that it is obviously biased?
